Drama Camp July 24-30, 2017
Where the kids put on the whole show!
“In a galaxy far, far away, the crew of “Star Quest J-316” is on a mission bringing the Word of God to people everywhere! Journey with our crew as we head to the planet Harmonia…but wait……the crew has just discovered the entire Intergalactic Bible Database has been deleted!!!! Who did this?? What evil villain is at work stealing scriptures?? Time is of the essence, and nothing in this world, or beyond, could be more important than making sure God’s Word remains available to people throughout the galaxy!”
Our goal at Lakeview Heights Drama Camp is to keep our campers engaged and energized learning new skills each year! Whether you’re a returning camper or a new addition to the crew, we provide a faith-based environment where children can explore all areas of the arts. Our campers handle every area of the show: staging, costume creation, set design, tech team and stage managing. Our camp is led by a team of theatre enthusiasts and trained arts leaders.
Star Quest is a 7-song musical featuring 28 speaking parts and 15 musical solos! For this show, we need drama campers who love to sing, dance and give an energetic performance!
After registration is complete, campers will be given a music CD, MP3 download and set of lyric sheets.
ALL CAMPERS ARE ASKED TO LEARN ALL OF THE SONGS BEFORE CAMP BEGINS.
Campers will be invited to audition for solo parts on the first day of camp.
